Yes, it is ideal for bathrooms, toilets, and kitchens, on floors and walls, vanity tops, backsplashes, bathtub surrounds, etc. A water-repellent and oil-repellent protection is applied to limit stain absorption and facilitate maintenance.

The final thickness is generally between 2 and 3 mm (excluding substrate preparation). This allows for renovation without significant extra thickness or major leveling work.

Silky Concrete follows the movements of the substrate. If the substrate is stable, prepared, and properly isolated from any structural cracks, the risk is controlled. However, an unstable, cracked, or poorly prepared substrate can lead to the appearance of micro-cracks. This is why we pay particular attention to diagnosis and preparation.

Once protected (with a water repellent, varnish, or wax depending on the area), Béton Soyeux is highly resistant to everyday domestic use.

• For floors: regular maintenance and the use of felt pads under furniture will limit micro-scratches.
